Peter Boal, the artistic director the Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB), is putting on a digital subscription season of six programs this year. The first three are in October, November, and December. The opening program, says Boal, is “a series of solos and socially distanced gems. Each work is rehearsed and performed by our dancers days before we send it to you.” Over the entire season world premieres will come from Jessica Lang, Penny Saunders, Donald Byrd, Alejandro Cerrudo, and Edward Liang. Performances stay up for five days after they first stream. Now you can be part of the PNB audience from anywhere in the world. —L.J.
