“This work metaphorically illustrates the lightness that is omnipresent at Hermès,” says Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the company’s artistic director. He is speaking of On the Wings of Hermès, a film that is billed as “A poetic and cinematic performance.” For the project, which tells the story of Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek myth, the brand asked the Belgian duo Jaco Van Dormael and Michèle Anne de Mey to direct the prestigious Astragales dance company. Mesmerizing choreography, not to mention scenography, are pivotal to the show, which made its debut in Paris. There’s also an opera sung by a cast of Kelly bags. Admission is free. —Elena Clavarino
