Valentino, Olivier Theyskens, Iris van Herpen, Thom Browne, Carolina Herrera, Giles Deacon—these are just a handful of the fashion-world stars, established and avant-garde, who’ve envisioned tutus, tunics, and more for the new ballets premiered at NYCB’s Fall Fashion Gala, an event conceived by actress Sarah Jessica Parker. This year, the Gala’s eighth, sees Zac Posen designing costumes for choreographer Lauren Lovette, and Anna Sui designing for Edwaard Liang. —L.J.
