In 1983, the couple Jenny and Antti Wihuri donated a collection of contemporary art to the Northern City of Rovaniemi, in Finland. Northern Finland is vast and its population sparse. Artists residing there have a strong connection with their Arctic surroundings. Works by 48 artists from the Wihuri Foundation Collection make up this exhibition, which offers a look into life during dark winters and spectral summers, silent beauty whipped by icy winds. —Elena Clavarino
