While Charles-Édouard Jeanneret—better known as Le Corbusier—is regarded as a pioneer of 20th-century architecture, his talents spanned many mediums. A new exhibition highlights his tapestries, which he called “the mural of the modern age.” The massive woven works brought the motifs he explored in his paintings to the wall surfaces of his buildings. Le Corbusier’s early attempts at tapestries in the 1930s as well as major projects from the late 1940s through the 1950s are on view, along with drawings and cartoons. —Jensen Davis
