Though you might not remember the name Jean Jullien, you’ll probably recognize his tweak of the peace symbol, done during the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris: he replaced its interior branches with the Eiffel Tower. Born in Cholet in 1983, Jullien has been doing graphic work in Paris for 20 years. In his first solo exhibition at a European institution, he’s showing provocative commentary and intimate paintings. —Elena Clavarino
