You can read the description of this world premiere “Berlin Evening” over and over again and still not have a clue what you’re going to see. But there are hints of what you’ll hear. The mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter will be singing Berlin hits of the 1920s and 30s, composed by Kurt Weill, Paul Dessau, Hanns Eisler, Friedrich Hollaender, Peter Kreuder, Theo Mackeben, and Michael Jary. Wolfram Koch, the cult star of the hit television series “Tatort,” is also on hand. F.Y.I. the show’s wacky title comes from one of the songs. —L.J.
