Following the 10th anniversary, in August, of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash hit Hamilton, lip-synching videos are going viral on TikTok, the original cast member Leslie Odom Jr. is returning as Aaron Burr in this fall’s Broadway run, and—the cherry on top—the filmed version of the Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Pulitzer-awarded musical is opening in theaters. Originally recorded in June of 2016, the film features Miranda, Daveed Digs, Jonathan Groff, and the other originating actors of the show, whose defiant lyrics and catchy melodies have since become an indelible part of the zeitgeist. —Paulina Prosnitz
