Graham Nash’s most recent solo album, 2016’s This Path Tonight, describes a turning point in the life of this acclaimed folk artist, best known for his work in the group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. In his lyrics and guitar licks, Nash works through the end of his 38-year marriage (he’d fallen for a woman half his age) and his increasingly strained relationships with Neil Young and David Crosby. As he told Rolling Stone that year, “I still don’t know which side of the street to walk on without pissing people off.” In spite of the turmoil, the 77 year old hasn’t stopped touring. A true tunesmith, the end of Nash’s path is nowhere in sight. —C.J.F.
