Katherine Moar’s debut play draws inspiration from a true story. In 1945, six of Germany’s top nuclear scientists were detained in a country house in Cambridge, England. Hitler is dead and W.W. II seems to be coming to an end. While the scientists are in captivity, the United States drops two atomic bombs on Japan. Unbeknown to the scientists, who have learned of the bombings, the walls are bugged and their conversations about the bomb will be captured. Those conversations are the springboard for Farm Hall.
