The Italian company Moleskine was founded in 1997, on the cusp of the digital era, yet today fans of this high-design notebook are legion. In a touring exhibition, 75 creative thinkers share their own artfully marked up and used Mokeskines—decorated and sculpted, incorporated into art works. Paula Scher, William Kentridge, and Joana Vasconcelos are a few of the artists included in the show. By the way, this is the first exhibition ever to take place at the One World Observatory, which gives you a 360-degree view of the Big Apple. —Elena Clavarino
