Danh Vo’s installations tell stories about identity. To Vo, fragments and archives are like pieces of a puzzle; together they add up to personal histories and narratives. Having lived a life of asylum, a fugitive from war’s devastation in his native Vietnam, Vo examines integration, immigration, and the cultural discrepancies between Eastern and Western worlds. In this virtual exhibition, Winsing Art Place displays Vo’s renowned works, including his We the People sculpture and the Gold Leaf on Carton box. —E.C.
