Cocktails with a Curator

Apr 23, 2020 – Mar 31, 2021
1 E 70th St, New York, NY 10021, USA

B.Y.O.B. has never been so classy. Every Friday evening at five P.M., the Frick invites viewers to mix their own cocktails—recipes are offered by the museum, including ones for mocktails—and then take a seat at home for a virtual conversation about a famous work of art. Past talks have focused on Rembrandt’s Polish Rider, paired with the Polish drink Szarlotka, and Giovanni Bellini’s St. Francis in the Desert, to be analyzed while sipping a classic Manhattan. Next up: Boucher’s The Four Seasons and a drink called Time Regained. —J.V.
