Going to the movies is fun. Going to open air movies in Cold Spring, a few minutes drive from New York City is even more fun. In time for mid–August, the Magazzino Italian Art museum is hosting two days of open air screenings, including five films that honor luminaries such as the architect Renzo Piano, the designer Aldo Rossi, and the sculptor and painter Mimmo Paladino. Doors open at five-thirty P.M. and screenings start at eight-thirty P.M. Come early for some Italian barbecue ($25). —Elena Clavarino
