Oct 8 – Nov 17, 2019

In a massive production that attracts 3,000 artists from 60 countries, and a staggering 400,000 visitors, the Cheongju Craft Biennale intends to remind viewers of what is often forgotten—Mother Nature—by basing the fair’s theme on a famous painting by Gyeon Ahn of the Joseon Dynasty. Prepare to be wowed by the largest craft Biennale in the world. Ceramics, wood, lacquer, metal, and textiles have been shipped in from across the seas. —E.C.
