Ceramics: Vienna, 1900–1930

Oct 10 – Nov 30, 2019
Lobkowitzplatz 1, Ecke Gluckgasse, 1010 Wien, Austria

For those who can’t get enough of the Wiener Werkstätte, here’s a banquet of stylized ceramics made between 1900 and 1930. Eduard Klablena’s figurines, well-heeled women poised in Poiret. Vally Wieselthier’s kohl-eyed ladies, who seem to foresee Sally Bowles. Dagobert Peche’s ethereal shapes, delicately decorated. Michael Powolny’s dancing Isadorables in golden tunics (pictured above). Also included: work by Gudrun Baudisch, Erna Kopriva, Bertold Löffler, Kitty Rix, and Susi Singer. —L.J.
