French artist Arthur Dorval, a member of the Geometric Abstraction movement, shows us basic shapes evolving into volumes. His large-scale canvases—their bright blue, pink, green, and yellow facets hinting at a third dimension—are actually referred to as “painted sculptures.” Dorval’s works are on display in a most welcoming city, vibrant Marrakech. —J.V.
