In 2019, HGTV aired a mini-series called A Very Brady Renovation. Yes, the house that was used in the 1970s series was purchased, and with the help of the actors and actresses who played the Brady Bunch kids, the interiors were restored to the mid-century decor that boomers remember. Who knew that with the pandemic of 2020, we’d all be living (well, Zooming) in the Brady Bunch boxes that multiplied under the show’s opening credits. The nostalgia continues with this virtual musical benefiting Southern Maine’s Ogunquit Playhouse. Barry Williams (Greg) and Christopher Knight (Peter) are taking part, while the rest of the cast is made up of Broadway regulars. The plot concerns the Brady kids’ fear that their parents are heading for divorce. Created with love and a dash of satire! —L.J.
