Fall for Dance is back onstage this year. Ever since it was established in 2004, this festival has been a signal autumn event in Manhattan. Presented by the New York City Center, it brings together cutting edge, emerging, and established artists from all forms of dance, which means it’s a great sampler of the current scene. Now in its 18th iteration, Fall for Dance offers five programs. Among the talents, both dancers and choreographers, are Elizabeth Streb, Kyle Abraham, Stephen Petronio, Conrad Kelly II, Lil Buck, Tiler Peck, and Herman Cornejo. There’s a world premiere by Lar Lubovitch for his company and guest artists Adrian Danchig-Waring and Joseph Gordon. BalletX offers the New York premiere of Matthew Neenan’s Mapping Out a Sky. Tickets are reasonably prices at $15. —L.J.
