Dr Deepika Chopra is a celebrated behavioral scientist known as the Optimism Doctor. She holds a doctorate in clinical health psychology and uses scientific evidence and holistic practices to provide her clients (individuals, couples and corporations) with practical ways to become more resilient and optimistic.
Some people are naturally optimistic but she argues that that doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t join them. “I am not the most optimistic person,” she says. “I never really have been. But optimism is not a personality trait. It is a psychological skill that can be learned.”
