Clé de Peau: Restorative Cream Supreme
I’ve loved Clé de Peau’s La Crème—an exquisite moisturizer at an exquisite price ($850)—since Stéphane Marais, the makeup artist, told me about it. It’s J-beauty at its finest. Now the brand has a new offering, Restorative Cream Supreme, that claims to improve skin’s “intelligence”—a concept that’s new to me. It contains ruby peptide, a complex built around red-clover extract and carnosine, credited with aiding skin’s recovery from life’s assaults, along with a concentrate made of honeysuckle, safflower, and coriander extracts, plus glutamic acid, which helps calm inflammation and hydrate the skin.
