For years, the best-selling fragrance in the world—across genders, ages, hair color, blood type (I made up those last two)—has been Sauvage from Dior. It’s beloved for its power, distinct identity, and consistent Johnny Deppness. (Dior has called him “an icon of contemporary virility”—hello!) Even all that success doesn’t mean Sauvage gets to coast on autopilot. To stay on top, it needs newness, ideally at two-year intervals. Which brings us to Sauvage Extrait, the latest installment.
