If its debut production, Weer, is any indication of what the new Cherry Lane Theater can do, then keep an eye on You Got Older. Written by Clare Barron and starring Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), this dark comedy is about a woman, Mae, who returns to her hometown in Washington to care for her sick father. The timing isn’t bad, considering she’s just lost her job and her boyfriend. But when she meets a mysterious stranger back home, Mae begins to reckon with intimacy and its challenges.
