Well, I’ll Let You Go is Bubba Weiler’s debut play, and it’s looking good for the 33 year old. He’s written the story of a small Midwestern town that’s also a community in crisis. Quincy Tyler Bernstine (Manchester by the Sea) leads the cast, joined by Michael Chernus (Severance), Connie Shulman (Fried Green Tomatoes), and five others. The action isn’t linear. Instead, Weiler jumps through time, piecing together a portrait of the place and the people in it, their hopes lit up and burned down by the American Dream. Jack Serio directs. —Jeanne Malle
