In this new film, Bryan Fogel spotlights the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who got under the monarchy’s skin for championing free speech in the Arab world. Fogel interviews the late Khashoggi’s fiancé and reveals harrowing new details, including that the site of the murder was equipped with audio and video connections to Riyadh, allowing for at-home spectators—Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, it is implied, among others. —Nina Burleigh
