Russian artist Oleg Kulik is known for performance pieces in which he creates a symbolic set of parameters and then inhabits them in a variety of roles. For this solo show of sculptural installations, Kulik addresses themes of confinement and martyrdom, making eloquent use of the Soviet-era window bars that bore a strangely haloed motif—that of a rising sun. —J.V.
