Summer is a notoriously dead season for great movies. It’s also a time of lightheartedness (or, at least, it should be). Enter the Paris Theater, which is currently running a series that features five decades of funny films—Coming to America, The Wedding Singer, Anchorman, and Superbad among them. An added bonus: The theater’s blasting A/C is a blissful antidote to New York City’s sweltering heat. —Julia Vitale
