Sophie Zucker—playwright, actress, comedian, and a writer for The Daily Show—is performing Sophie Sucks Face, a dark musical comedy about incest and Jewish American identity, at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles. This is the West Coast debut of a cult hit. Zucker has performed her one-woman show to sold-out crowds at the Soho Playhouse in Manhattan and the DIY space Life World in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Zucker has referred to her act as “Bo Burnham’s Inside, meets Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag, meets Sondheim’s Company.” Actress Rachel Bloom will be a featured performer. —Sophie Kemp
