“I never think I have finished a nude until I think I could pinch it,” said the Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who finished hundreds of nudes (which means hundreds of pinches). The Clark exhibition looks at the ways Renoir’s rendering of female flesh changed over the years, influenced by masters like Raphael and the fresh vision of peers Édouard Manet and Edgar Degas. —L.J.
