POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive

Apr 14 – Aug 14, 2022
234 West 44th St New York, NY 10036

When the president of the United States—the titular dumbass—commits a career-ruining faux pas, he calls in his P.R. team, made up of seven ladies: Chris, Bernadette, Stephanie, Dusty, Jean, Harriet, and Margaret. Selina Fillinger’s comedy never names POTUS, nor does he appear onstage. Rather, the focus of the show is the behind-the-scenes women tasked with cleaning up the man’s mess. The cast includes Broadway newcomers Julianne Hough and Rachel Dratch (a longtime star of Saturday Night Live), and Broadway veterans Vanessa Williams, Julie White, and Lea DeLaria. —Jensen Davis
