In this one-woman show, Alison Leiby recounts a series of “meltdowns” she had before going to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. For instance: What’s a woman to wear to such an important occasion? Rather than approach abortion from an abstract or overtly political position, Leiby, a comedian and television writer (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The President Show) tells the story through the minutia leading up to her surgery. The critically-acclaimed show, which debuted last fall, is back for a six-week Off Broadway run, presented by Broad City’s Ilana Glazer. Lila Neugebauer directs. —Jensen Davis
