Nairy Baghramian grew up in Iraq, but left for Germany in 1984, where she’s lived for almost 40 years. Ever since the move, Baghramian has produced sculpture, photographs, and drawings that explore the human body, especially women’s bodies. Her plasters often resemble limbs—or a protuberance, a cavity, a prosthetic—anatomical shapes that highlight our innate vulnerability. This exhibition presents pieces made by Baghramian during the last decade. —Elena Clavarino
