“I made this movie for myself, and young queer teens,” says rising queer filmmaker Andy Fidoten of their debut short Gay Teen Werewolf. The film is a wry remix of classic teen rom-coms and monster movies: girl meets girl, girls get into supernatural hijinx. It’s sardonic and sweet. The film’s New York debut at MoMA also features a Q&A with Fidoten and a selection of Fidoten’s favorite short films. The program is part of MoMA’s Teen Film Club, so tell your coolest 13 to 25 year olds to go. Werewolf ears and vampire fangs are of course optional. —Sophie Kemp
