Each year, Shakespeare’s Globe theater partners with Deutsch Bank to provide U.K. schools with tickets to performances. But as students head into an uncertain, and probably remote, fall semester, the Globe’s efforts to intellectually engage young learners have gone worldwide, free, and virtual. The Globe has pledged to keep its 2020 production of Shakespeare’s witchiest tragedy, Macbeth, available on YouTube until U.K. schools reopen. And the theater’s website offers learning-based activities about the play’s themes and symbols. —C.J.F.
