Ethan Coen, one half of the Coen brothers, has never been shy about shifting genres—think No Country for Old Men and The Big Lebowski. He also switches between disciplines. A playwright as well as a filmmaker, Coen is now debuting his fifth work for the Atlantic Theater Company. Directed by Neil Pepe, the Atlantic’s artistic director, Let’s Love! stars Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus), the Atlantic ensemble member Chris Bauer, and Mary McCann, who was sensational in The Welkin last year. Composed of three one-act plays, the production examines love, its highs and lows, its logic and illogic. —Jeanne Malle
