Vaslav Nijinsky, Serge Lifar, Svetlana Zakharova, Irina Dvorovenko, Sergei Polunin—Ukrainian dancers have been lighting up the ballet stage for over a century. With Russia’s cruel and gratuitous attack on Ukraine still raging, it’s time to wrap oneself in blue and yellow for an evening with the Kyiv City Ballet. The company travels the U.S. through October 26, and in Oklahoma City, for two performances, will pull from a repertory that includes a full-length Swan Lake, excerpts from Les Sylphides and Carmen, and several works by Ukrainian choreographers. —Laura Jacobs
