Mrs. Tependris—the ultra-glamorous, ultra-chic cartoon character—runs around in superman capes and fabulous get-ups. Importantly, she is always perfectly coiffed. Mrs. Tependris is a figment of the imagination, invented by the Los Angeles-based artist Konstantin Kakanias. While life for real people is currently enclosed, Mrs. Tependris inhabits colorful worlds of freedom and fun, urging us to “travel with the mind.” —E.C.
