Keith Haring

June 14 – Nov 10, 2019
Albert Dock, Liverpool L3 4BB, United Kingdom

Spontaneity, symbolism, synapses, life. Keith Haring’s murals, paintings, and posters are as packed with humanity as the subway at rush hour. In fact, his first public works were chalk outlines drawn in subway stations: the AIDS epidemic supplied the tragic double meaning. This is the first major U.K. exhibition of Haring’s work. —L.J.
