This July, if you’re heading east from New York City for splashy beach clubs and decadent lobster rolls, don’t overlook the East End’s premier cultural event—the Hamptons Fine Art Fair. For the past 20 years, the art world’s most dynamic collectors have set up shop in Southhampton, and this year they feature over 500 artists—from emerging talent to blue chip eminences. Themed booths include a centennial tribute to Marilyn Monroe, “The Trailblazers of Hamptons’ Abstraction,” and a focus on patriotic kinetic art. In celebration of America’s semiquincentennial, the fair’s outdoor sculpture park features a bronze model of the Statue of Liberty—a rare original from France. —Maggie Turner
