Google Arts Project: Street Art

Streaming on Google Arts Project

At a time when its best to stay home, the memory of “street art” may inspire melancholic feelings for pre-quarantine life. To combat blues, and in an effort to keep this vibrant culture abuzz, Google has put together Google Street Art, a platform that features wall art from street-art icons around the world. An interactive map allows viewers to click from Miami’s Wynwood Walls, to Banksy’s murals, to video interviews with some of the scene’s most renowned figures. And best of all, there’s a “Surprise Me” toggle: you’ll bump into unexpected works, just as you might on a future Sunday stroll. —E.C.
