The annual International Contemporary Art Fair, founded in 1974 in Paris, hosts almost 200 exhibitors from around the world, in all media—even video, performance, and digital art. This year the Fair is located in the Petit Palais, a space that creates a relationship between today’s artists and those of centuries past. “It’s a space,” says Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, a guest curator this year, “that makes so much sense. A work of art doesn’t have an age in the end.” —L.J.
