Clybourne Park, which premiered in 2010, is one of only two plays in history to win a Pulitzer, a Tony, and an Olivier (the other is David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross), and it returns to the West End for a new staging on its tenth anniversary. The play opens in 1959 inside a newly sold middle-class home in a leafy Chicago neighborhood; the second half centers on the same property, but now it’s 2009. Who owns the house, who is selling it, and who wants it? This corrosive comedy about race is set on “detonate.” —B.A.
