In 1983, after a car accident damaged his left eye, Dale Chihuly left England and returned to his native Northwest, where his international glass art school had been running for 12 years. The Pilchuck Glass School, as it is called, is housed in a small, magical structure in Tacoma, Washington, and has influenced Native traditions in the area. This exhibition places 120 glass creations by 33 Indigenous artists alongside Chihuly’s own work. —Elena Clavarino
