“I am disturbed by the idea that art is here, and reality is there, separated,” explains Jan Hoet, a Belgian artist and the founder of SMAK. “Chambres d’Amis: IKEA” is the second of three projects by Office Baroque, which rejects the segregation of art into sterile gallery spaces. The idea of integrating art into realms beyond the museum continues in this second project, which is situated solely on the final pages of IKEA’s most recent print edition. “Chambres d’Amis: IKEA” features works by 39 artists, including Motoyuki Daifu, Joseph Holtzman, and Dan Peterman. —Thalia Bonas
