In an unprecedented move, Hauser & Wirth is launching its inaugural exhibition in HWVR, a virtual reality exhibition modeling tool. HWVR will guide viewers through “Beside Itself,” an exhibition housed in Hauser & Wirth’s not-yet-open Menorca gallery (it’s scheduled to open in 2021). A simple toggle of your mouse means you can step into the gallery and take in text-based works by Louise Bourgeois, Mark Bradford, Charles Gaines, Ellen Gallagher, Jenny Holzer, Roni Horn, Luchita Hurtado, and others.
