Strong Foundation

The master of real-life makeup has a new offering that promises to fit into your everyday. Yes, I’m talking about Bobbi Brown and her new tinted moisturizer for Jones Road. It’s called Just Enough and is meant for those days when you don’t need a full beat—or even a partial beat. It is more a beat-the-clock product to slap on your face before dashing out the door. I’ve used my tube before Zoom meetings, a run to the market, and when I have to look halfway presentable at the gym. Like all Jones Road products, it’s pretty much foolproof, requiring no YouTube tutorials or elaborate tools. With just your two hands and two minutes, your skin looks more even and moisturized, and you’re on your way. Beat that! ($44, jonesroadbeauty.com) —Linda Wells

Boa Constrictor

Maybe you’ve heard whispers of Boa Pilates, the smaller, more exclusive, and even harder to book newcomer to New York’s ultra-exclusive referral-only Pilates boutiques. I hate to be the one to say it, but it’s actually worth the hype. After bringing Forma Pilates to New York for Liana Levi and creating Pilates Rise for Equinox, Chelsea DeLay opened her own West Village studio last summer. She’s limited Boa to three Reformers to make sure each client gets enough attention. I walked away with more helpful tips than I ever have from a typical private session. So much so that now when I go to larger classes (please let me back, Chelsea. I miss you), her corrections ring through my head. If you can get a spot, go for the athletic, challenging workout. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by New Yorkers who dispense some of the finest shopping, dermatology, and restaurant recommendations between glute bridges. Bonus points for Chelsea’s adorable beagle, Margot, who cheers you on from her bed. ($100, studioboapilatesnyc.com) —Clara Molot

Home Spa

I’m a sucker for science, even in this anti-science time, and that may explain my weakness for anything with a clinical look, a statistic, and an unpronounceable chemical. If the formula was originally limited to professionals, all the better. The new iS Clinical Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System checks all the boxes. And that name! Could anything be sexier? The at-home two-step peel starts with a mix of botanical acids that tingles appealingly as it goes to work, exfoliating dead skin cells efficiently. The second packet holds a neutralizing blend that adds moisture, antioxidants, and skin soothers. It’s a brightening refreshment to wipe away the cobwebs. ($120, isclinical.com) —Linda Wells

Sweet Nothings

The fashion editor to end all fashion editors, Polly Mellen (R.I.P.), used to have a name for a dress that didn’t look like much but worked overtime. She called it a “nothing dress.” I’m always on the hunt for a nothing lipstick. You know, the one that looks as if it’s melded with your mouth, that looks like you’re wearing nothing even though it’s most definitely something. And when I find that lipstick, I dare you to pry it out of my cold, dead, moisturized hands. Sarah Creal, the wildly talented product developer for Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Prada, and Victoria Beckham Beauty, has the answer in her new The Adults Are Talking lip tints. It’s a solid lip serum that’s not thick or gooey and is rendered in shades that are no louder than a whisper. My new favorite is Thriving. If anyone asks about it, feel free to say, “Oh this? It’s nothing.” ($42, sarahcrealbeauty.com) —Linda Wells

Sunnier Days Ahead

A recent Fraxel treatment eviscerated—for now—nearly all of my hyper-pigmentation, and I’m more determined than ever to protect my skin from the sun. But that doesn’t stop me from coveting a beachy glow. Tom Ford Beauty’s new Soleil Summer Collection arrived just in time. Its Eye Color Quad (with blendable shades of vanilla, ember, gold, and copper) skews a little St. Tropez for a Tuesday afternoon on Zoom calls, but I won’t be going anywhere this summer without a dewy, sheer-ish Soleil Lip Balm. (My favorite of the six shades is the berry-tinged Isle.) In a nod to Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc fragrance, the balms are scented with coconut, so if the overall effect inspires you to mentally escape to a better place like, say, Pampelonne Beach, we can hardly blame you. And maybe pack the quad, too. ($100 for the eyeshadow palette, $45 for the lip balm) —Ashley Baker

Sleep On It

Nobody—and I mean nobody—knows how to wash and condition quite like the skilled assistants at George Northwood. But now they have some competition: Oribe’s new Gold Lust Restorative Night Crème for Hair, a leave-in treatment that promises to restore even the most damaged strands to their smooth, silky salon state while you sleep. Flower peptides add moisture and shine without weighing things down (or requiring a shower cap or turban). The scent of eucalyptus extract seems to say, “Go to sleep—we’ve got this.” It’s not quite as satisfying as a professional scalp massage, but it doesn’t demand an appointment, either. And is there anything more relaxing than letting someone (or something) else work while you are completely unconscious? ($72, oribe.com) —Ashley Baker
