Growing up in Barcelona, Blanca Miró Scrimieri was always drawn to fashion—she often stole clothes from her mother and grandmother, and she devoured fashion magazines. Soon, she realized she could turn her eye for style into a career.

She signed up for summer courses at Central Saint Martins, in London, and took on styling jobs for brands like Chanel and Jimmy Choo. Meanwhile, her eclectic outfits began appearing in the pages of Vogue and Elle.

In 2018, Miró and María de la Orden launched La Veste, a womenswear label known for its playful tailoring: cropped blazers in bold colors, wide-legged trousers, frilly collars, and vintage-inspired silhouettes. More recently, Miró has expanded into homeware.

Today, she lives in a colorful apartment in Barcelona’s Eixample district with her husband, the tech entrepreneur Javi Fondevila. Here, she shares her guide to the best places to eat, shop, and explore in her hometown.
