Well, I’ll Let You Go is Bubba Weiler’s debut play, and it’s looking good for the 32-year-old. He’s written the story of a small Midwestern town, that’s also a community in crisis. Manchester by the Sea’s Quincy Tyler Bernstine leads the cast, joined by Severance’s Michael Chernus, Fried Green Tomatoes’s Connie Shulman, and five others. The action isn’t linear, but rather jumps through time as it pieces together a portrait of the place and the people in it, their hopes lit up and burned down by the American Dream. Jack Serio directs. —Jeanne Malle
