A new building doesn’t yet store precedents and memories within its walls. It can be judged solely on its architectural qualities. In this untouched space, exhibiting artists are using their work to accentuate and challenge aspects of its construction. Anton Parys, Benjamin Verdonck, William Forsythe, and many others have each created site-specific installations. Viewers are invited to step through as participants, integral players in the Z33 inauguration. —E.C.
