A new Britbox period drama retells the story of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of Mary—the perennially forgotten middle Bennet sister who is described at various points as silly, vain, not as pretty as her sisters, bookish, socially-inept, and ill-humored. Adapted from a book by Janice Hadlow, the 10-part series stars Ella Bruccoleri as Mary alongside Richard E. Grant (Withnail and I) as Mr. Bennet and Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey) as Mrs. Bennet.
